I partnered with Tourism Ireland and Secret Escapes on an exciting project to promote the Wild Atlantic Way as the ultimate weekend getaway destination. The goal was to showcase how easy it is to hop on a plane and immerse yourself in Ireland’s breathtaking landscapes and rich culture, perfect for a short but memorable escape.
The journey began in Sligo, where I explored the iconic Gleniff Horseshoe and Benbulben Mountain, capturing their dramatic, otherworldly beauty through my lens. I even tried my hand at surfing off the coast of Rossnowlagh, showcasing the Wild Atlantic Way's adventurous side. From there, I headed to Donegal, uncovering secret waterfalls and hiking to panoramic views over Mount Errigal. The trip ended with an authentic cultural experience—a local band performing in a lively pub, which was a highlight of the weekend.
As a travel photographer, I also focused on promoting the accommodation and travel experience, aligning with Secret Escapes' ethos of offering unique and luxurious stays. This included capturing the charm and comfort of the hotels I stayed at, ensuring the visuals told a story of relaxation and adventure all in one.
The entire project was shot on the Canon R5, ensuring every detail of Ireland’s rugged coastline, dramatic mountains, and vibrant culture was captured in stunning quality. This collaboration highlighted the beauty of Ireland, the convenience of visiting, and how the Wild Atlantic Way offers something for everyone—be it adventure, nature, or local culture. It was an honor to work with both brands to create compelling content that inspires others to pack their bags and experience Ireland for themselves.
