Partnering with PolarPro gave me the chance to elevate my visual storytelling using their Gold Mist Filter from the Peter McKinnon 135 series. I took this piece of kit to Fuerteventura, where the island’s rugged landscapes and golden sunsets offered the perfect setting to showcase the filter's unique cinematic effect.

The Gold Mist Filter added a soft, dreamy glow to the highlights while maintaining sharpness in the details, creating a warm, atmospheric feel that brought the island’s dramatic scenery to life. From capturing the textured dunes to the crashing waves at golden hour, it enhanced the mood without overpowering the shot, ideal for travel and outdoor photographers seeking a distinct style.

Using my Sony a7 III, I demonstrated how this filter is more than just an accessory; it’s a creative tool that changes how you approach light. Whether shooting stills or video, it added a cinematic depth that helped tell a richer visual story. This project was about inspiring other creators to experiment with their photography, showing how the right gear can completely shift the mood of an image.
