Wild Camping in Wales

South Wales

1 July 2024

While working with CampWild, an outdoor adventure brand that specialises in unique camping experiences, I had the chance to explore two stunning locations in South Wales. The first campsite was set on the grounds of an ancient castle ruin, offering breathtaking views over the valleys and the river below—an ideal setting for vanlife camping. The second location was right on the riverbank, where we watched the water level rise with the high tide, creating a dramatic yet tranquil atmosphere.
I captured both photos and video throughout the weekend using a mix of equipment to showcase the beauty of these spots and the camping experience. For aerial footage, I used the DJI Air2S, while the iPhone 13 Pro captured mobile, on-the-go moments. My Sony A7 III was used for high-quality stills and video, ensuring the visuals were crisp and professional.
We stayed in the OEX Phoxx 2 tent from Go Outdoors, which offered excellent comfort and protection. This collaboration allowed me to showcase the versatility of the camping gear and the remarkable locations, while delivering content that resonated with CampWild’s audience. As a photographer, videographer, and content creator, I was able to capture a perfect blend of nature, adventure, and gear in an authentic outdoor setting.
